Villa Loaisa

Cala Les Bassetes

Les Bassetes lies on the boundary between Benissa and Calpe, on a formation of sedimentary rock. More than a cove for towels and umbrellas, it is a small bay of calm, shallow water, with the Club Náutico Les Bassetes right next to it.

It is the starting point for water activities on this coast: diving, sailing, kayak hire and boat trips. From here you look straight across at the Peñón de Ifach.

The surroundings are protected as a plant micro-reserve.

If you go

You get into the water by a metal ladder, not from the shore. It is a cove for swimming and diving, not for spending the day on the sand.

There is a beach bar and a restaurant, and you park in the harbour car park.

Where to stay

Villa Loaisa is in the countryside of Benissa, with a private pool and room for eight. All these coves are a short drive away.
